Osteoarthritis
also called degenerative joint disease, is that the most typical kind of arthritis. it's associated with a breakdown of cartilage in joints and should occur in almost any joint within the body. It most commonly occurs within the weight-bearing joints of the hips, knees, and spine. It can also affect the fingers, thumb, neck, and massive toe. it always doesn't affect other joints unless previous injury or excessive stress is involved. people over age 60 have osteoarthritis to some extent, but its severity varies. the center and end joints of the fingers and joint swelling and joint fluid accumulation. , also as in other organs within the body. Autoimmune diseases are illnesses that occur when the body tissues are mistakenly attacked by its own system.

Atrophic arthritis
is 2 to three times more common in women than in men and typically occurs between the ages of 40 and 60.

Septic arthritis
also called infectious arthritis, is caused by a bacterial infection or more rarely by a fungal or viral infection. The condition is usually acute, causing severe joint pain, inflammation, redness, and in some cases fever and chills but can also become chronic. Septic arthritis may affect any joint but is most frequently found within the knee, hip, shoulder, wrist, elbow, and finger joints. Usually, just one joint is going to be affected but, in some cases, there could also be quite one. This condition must be diagnosed and treated quickly because it can destroy joints during a brief period of some time. Septic arthritis can strike any age group, including infants and kids. In adults, it most ordinarily affects weight-bearing joints like the knee, while in children it's more common within the shoulders, hips, and knees. Risk factors include patients diagnosed with chronic atrophic arthritis, certain systemic infections, certain sorts of cancer, diabetes, red blood cell anemia, or systemic LE (SLE), IV drug abusers and alcoholics, and patients with artificial (prosthetic) joints.
Typically, women and male homosexuals are at greater risk for septic arthritis than are male heterosexuals.

Gout and Pseudogout
are inflammatory arthritis which will be caused by monosodium urate and calcium pyrophosphate dihydrate crystal formation in joints. An more than acid within the body causes these conditions. This excess is often caused by a rise within the production of acid by the body, by under-elimination of acid by the kidneys or by increased intake of foods containing purines, which are metabolized to acid within the body. With time, elevated levels of acid within the blood may cause deposits around joints. Eventually, the acid may form needle-like crystals in joints, leading to acute gout attacks. After a time, this more than acid usually causes painful joint inflammation (arthritis).

 Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA)
May be a relatively rare disease, affecting one during a thousand children within the UK. many faculties will have had little experience of it. Marie-Strumpell disease
is a type of arthritis that inflames the joints.in the spine. The most commonly affected part of the spine in the sacroiliac (SI) joint
The condition causes pain, stiffness, and discomfort along the length of the spine.

 Many people who have Marie-Strumpell disease have mild, intermittent pain. Some have constant, severe pain. Some people experience a loss of flexibility in the spine due to Marie-Strumpell disease.
